The Concept of the Mongolian barbecue...
...is based on the ways of the ancient nomadic warriors, the Mongols, who prepared and ate the foods that were available to them as they moved endlessly around the countryside. Since they couldn't carry extra utensils, they would build large bonfires, place their shields on top to create a grill, and chop the food with their swords while it cooked.
The dining experience is unique, with only one menu item offered in an endless variety of combinations. Diners select from thinly sliced beef, pork, crab, chicken or turkey (lamb can be requested for an additional charge) and proceed down the line to add vegetables and sauces of their choice.
"It is important to take time to find out what flavor you like,
you must adjust the combination according to your own individual taste buds."
